Meet John Johnson
Pleasant Spring Farm is John Johnson’s farm in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Long before the farm took shape, Louis Bromfield’s book Pleasant Valley helped turn his wish for a few acres in the country into a vision for a working farm.
Today, the land and the cattle are at the heart of that story. Our grass-fed beef is raised without added hormones and is available by inquiry.
John is also the dentist behind Midwest BioHealth. The farm reflects his personal interest in food and the land, and welcomes anyone who wants a closer connection to where their beef comes from.
Our beef is not certified organic. We welcome questions about our practices and current beef availability.
